In my previous roles as a Business Analyst, I have successfully resolved system and process defects by collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to discover root causes and formulate plans to address them. Analysis included reviewing existing documentation to identify any gaps, systems analysis to understand underlying data and business logic, and testing to reproduce issues. In my experience I have found often that reported defects were not actually defects, but edge cases that were not considered during past requirements gathering activities.
